Ozone Treatment for Lyme

My dear friend Anna has full set of Ozone generator "synergy", Oxygen concentrator, Steam Sauna, and all tubing  (insufflation, O3 water, IV) for sale. Equipment is brand new. Please contact her @ omyogasana@gmail.com

Oxygen therapies

Regular oxygen (O2) has been found to be beneficial to Lyme Disease sufferers, especially if they live at higher elevations. Lyme Disease always creates oxygen deficiency in the body. Supplementing oxygen by breathing pure medical grade oxygen through a face mask can be tremendously beneficial in boosting immune system function and catalyzing healing within the body. Breathing pure oxygen while exercising increases the effect.

Breathing pure oxygen is not cumbersome or inconvenient – it can be done while checking email or watching the nightly news. Even breathing pure oxygen for as little as 30 minutes per day can cause dramatic acceleration of healing and reduction of symptoms.

Obtaining a prescription for pure medical grade oxygen is not difficult when dealing with a reasonable physician. Just tell him/her that because of your chronic illness, you have found that you feel better when you occasionally breathe pure oxygen. There are no side effects and no risks to breathing pure oxygen so if a physician tells you that he can’t prescribe it, fire him and go see someone else.

Ozone and Oxygen for Treating Lyme Disease
(This article is an excerpt from this book)
O
zone is a gas that most people have heard about in relation to the atmosphere. While ozone can be dangerous to inhale, other methods of applying ozone to the body have many benefits for many health conditions. Oxygen is O2 (two oxygen molecules). Ozone is O3 (three oxygen molecules). Ozone is highly unstable and reacts with many things. When introduced into the human body, it has many biological effects.

Ozone therapies

Ozone mitigates the negative effects Lyme Disease has on the body. It re-establishes healthy bio-terrain and neutralizes neurotoxins. It also combats the acidic condition created by Lyme Disease because it is alkalizing. The best way to introduce ozone is to copy here a note from Marc Fett, one of the contributors to this book.
RIFE + O3 = ONE-TWO PUNCH!

Hi all,

Bryan and I want to post important preliminary findings and results as regards the addition of what is shaping up to be the most ideal and effective adjunct found for the rife machine program. Though the rife machine program takes a person all the way out of the woods over time (24 months on average for adults), our thrust has been to find way(s) to "shorten the runway" of healing.

Two problem areas along the route:

#1 Neurotoxins:

Like a squid squirting "ink" for survival, the Bb emits neurotoxins that serve several purposes for the Bb. It affects the host's neural/spinal/brain activities. In a localized area of cells/tissue, it creates "hypercoagulation" (or "thick blood"), and serves Bb by causing decreased circulation, oxygen, nutrient transfer and toxin removal, decreased hydrogen (lower ATP burning in the cell which means decreased energy overall), electron flow interruption (which means pain), alters various key cellular functions, and so on.

In the hypothalamus/pituitary area of the brain, Bb infection and neurotoxins result in everything from appetite, perspiration and temperature abnormalities, to careening , insomnia, grotesque dreams and near psychosis.

Additionally, when the Bb are killed (like during antibiotics, rife machine treatments, etc.), they also expel neurotoxins as they perish. Thus, the strong herx reactions during treatments.

Just how much a part the neurotoxins play is found by folks who take chito-power, questran, molybdenum, olive-lemon drink, sauna, etc., and see how improved they feel just by having neurotoxin levels reduced.

It has been one of the challenges in eradicating Lyme Disease with rife machines to use effective supplementation and other measures to try and detoxify, lessen the neurotoxin load and help with the herx reactions. Especially as Lyme Disease sufferers who come into rife machine therapy tend to be depleted and trashed already from long bouts with mis-diagnosed Lyme, and often long, grueling bouts with antibiotics, which have their own debilitating aspects.

It isn't that a person can't make it all the way back with just Rife (like Doug & family, Kay, Jean Graham. etc.), its just that the first many months can be quite arduous because of the herxes.

#2 Co-factors:

We've found that the effect of "co-factors" is not a minor issue. In fact, along with the cyst form of Bb, they play a major role in the overall timeframe of recovery and particularly in how arduous or not the recovery process is.

We have both been struck by several folks who succeeded in knocking the hell out of their lyme (by rife, ICHT, etc – with even tests showing positive to negative), but have these sticky, stubborn co-factor issues with virus, systemic Candida/leaky gut, mycoplasmas, heavy metal poisoning, etc. that had been catalyzed by the Bb, with some of these co-factors (like candidiasis) presenting symptoms virtually identical to lyme.

Bb has a definite and unique catalyzing effect on other microbes (virus, yeast, bacteria, parasite, etc.), and in bolstering these (or making previously dormant viruses active) Bb is in turn bolstered by the activity of the catalyzed microbes.

This relationship also exists with heavy metals and other environmental toxins. The Bb are attracted to metal-effected areas in the body (which act like weakening/damaging "kryptonite" to the cells and immune system), aggravating the effects of heavy metals. In turn the Bb are bolstered.

This document is an excerpt from the above book.
The Ideal Adjunct

I have done an array of treatments prior to rife machines – HBOC, UV blood irradiation, hydrogen peroxide drips, auto-hemotherapy, ozone, advanced oxygen aphaeresis, underground Lyme Disease clinics, etc. So, I looked over the notes of what had the biggest impact – no matter what the pathogen – and ozone stood out predominantly.

Further new research showed the multi-faceted character of it that made it a perfect complement for rife machine therapy. With an ozone generator I had, I did some experimentation in a new day. The results were quite significant.

In conjunction with rife machines, ozone becomes an EXTREMELY potent, harmonic and effective adjunct. It is presenting the ideal "one-two punch".

And quite fitting. The rife machine technology comes from Dr. Rife and early ozone technology (cold plasma) comes from another near-contemporary genius, Nicola Tesla. And interestingly, both are still essentially electronic (though ozone uses a gas - oxygen - as a carrier for the electrons to nuke pathogens).

Ozone provides:

1. Able to kill spirochetes as well as ANY other pathogenic microbe – virus, bacterial, yeast, mycoplasma, parasite, prion, etc., contacted. In fact, is ATTRACTED to them by polarity.

2. Able to destroy infected cells, as well as mutated, malignant cells.

3. A powerful treatment for Candida.

4. An effective adjunct treatment for heavy metal chelation.

5. Pathogens are unable to build a resistance to it.

6. An effective treatment for brain, eyes, ear areas (using ozone applied locally to those areas).

7. As a by-product, provides bio-available oxygen to cells, to start a cascade of metabolic actions toward healing and rejuvenation and galvanizing of the immune system. Ozone breaks down into oxygen and singlet oxygen inside the body.

8. As a by-product, oxidizes toxins, including neurotoxins – THUS MARKEDLY REDUCING HERXES EVEN WHILE KILLING PATHOGENS.

9. As a by-product, scavenges free radicals and helps reverse the extensive free radical damage from a severe systemic infection like Lyme Disease.

10. The oxygenation provides for a more energized state.

11. Helps move pH toward alkaline from the acidic pH induced by chronic disease.

12. Potentiates other remedies, supplements, protocols.

13. Is natural, does not have side-effects, toxicity, or cumulative effects.

14. Is relatively cheap and able to be done at-home, whenever desired.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

Americans dig their own grave with their own knife and fork.
We all know about healthy diet. We all know that junk food and processed sugars are bad for us. We all know that we should eat plenty of fresh vegetables and drink at least 8 ounces of water a day. We all know that we should exercise. Lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. And knowing is NOT enough! You MUST take action!

Live Laugh Love

Can laughter cure an illness? The publicity of the man who cured his own cancer with comic video tapes is a recorded history. He was just sitting and watching funny movies all day.Laughter induces the body to release the pleasure hormone known as endorphins. As it turns out, this little hormone contributes to almost every part of the body: from the central nervous system to the cardiac.

LYME DISEASE: Treatment with Chinese Herbs

by Subhuti Dharmananda, Ph.D., Director, Institute for Traditional Medicine, Portland, Oregon

Lyme disease is the result of a spirochetal infection (Boerrelia burgdorferi) transmitted to humans by deer ticks (mainly Ixodes scapularis, though a relative, I. pacificus is the carrier in the Western U.S.). The infection sometimes results in a serious disease pattern, most often characterized by progressively worsening arthralgia, though a central nervous system disorder or even a heart disorder may arise (1, 2, 3, 10). The disease is named for the town (Old Lyme, Connecticut) where, in 1975, a number of children presenting symptoms similar to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis were eventually found to have acquired this Boerrelia infection.

The occurrence of Lyme disease is regional, being dependent on:

the distribution of the ticks that carry the bacteria (prevalent in forested areas in temperate climates, such as northern U.S. and northern Europe);
the presence of this particular bacteria in the ticks. The bacteria is carried by animals, particularly mice and deer, that are bitten by the tick; in the endemic area, only about 15-30% of ticks are infected; and
exposure of the human population to the ticks, which generally requires living in or venturing into areas where the ticks can be directly encountered.
Contact with a tick does not necessarily mean the disease will be experienced. In fact, it is estimated that only 1-3% of tick bites result in Lyme disease. While the region where infection is a somewhat likely possibility is expanding, the primary distribution still remains limited. As of 1995, it was reported that Boerrelia infections in the U.S. occurred mainly in 8 states of the northeastern U.S. and one Midwest state (Wisconsin). Retrospective studies indicate that there were probably a few cases of this disease many decades earlier, with cases appearing in Massachusetts and Wisconsin in the 1960s, and in northern Europe as early as the 1920s. There is some evidence to suggest cases of this or a very similar disease in Germany-a country that was heavily forested and full of deer-in the 1880s. The reason for the sudden epidemic of the disease during the past 25 years has been the change in land use and lifestyle that occurred, such as new growth of forests in abandoned farm land and movement of city dwellers into the forested countryside, either for recreation or for a new place to live. For those who are at risk for acquiring the infection, a vaccine against Boerrelia burgdorferi has been approved by the FDA and is now readily available.

There is no reference to Lyme disease in the Chinese literature and there may be none for some time, as most of China's forests have been eliminated. There are other spirochetal infections that have been addressed by Chinese physicians and by Chinese researchers conducting clinical trials or laboratory tests of infection-inhibiting properties. The relevant organism most often studied in China is Leptospira, which causes the disease called leptospirosis. This organism is carried by a wide range of animals, and is not uncommon in animals raised for food. In China, it has long been common practice for each family to keep animals, such as pigs and chickens, in and around their homes, so exposure has been possible for a large portion of the population. The bacterium can enter the body through the skin, usually from contact with animal urine. A small outbreak occurred at Fort Bragg in the U.S. in 1942, and the disease was nicknamed Fort Bragg Fever. Its cause was traced to swimming in ponds and streams that had been contaminated by livestock urine. Fewer than 200 cases occur in the U.S. each year, mostly in the warm southeastern states.

TRADITIONAL AND MODERN VIEWS OF LEPTOSPIROSIS AND ITS TREATMENT
The Leptospira infection causes fever and chills, headache, and muscle ache (especially in the shoulders). These symptoms match the Shang Han disease described in the ancient text Shang Han Lun. In fact, the initial course of leptospirosis follows a pattern, over a period of several days, that is somewhat like that described in the ancient text. In the advanced stage, leptospirosis can cause liver disease (with jaundice) or a severe form of meningitis; the symptoms of some cases of advanced Shang Han disease are similar. According to proponents of the general application of the Shang Han Lun as a guide to treatment of disease, the formulas recommended in that text could be used for modern diseases with similar symptom presentation. Accordingly, early stage of spirochetal infection, such as Lyme disease and Fort Bragg fever, might be treated by the same formulas used in the Shang Han Lun (see: A modern view of the Shang Han Lun).

Modern understanding of these infectious diseases may help reflect on the development of Chinese concepts of disease causation and treatment. Shang Han disease occurred most frequently in winter, the time of year when animals were brought into the house, thereby increasing opportunity for exposure to pathogens; thus, exposure of people to cold may not have been the reason that some diseases were observed to occur during the cold season. Similarly, the summer heat syndrome, which often produces digestive system disturbances, may not be the direct result of exposures of humans to the damp, hot climate, but exposure to pathogens that grow in that climate and infect the food and water supplies (see the articles: The six qi and six yin and Pill Curing and Huoxiang Zhengqi Pian).

The book Modern Study and Application of Materia Medica (4) provides information about herbs reputed to inhibit Leptospira based on laboratory testing (herb extract applied to cultured bacteria causing them to die) and, in some cases, clinical evaluation (herbs administered to infected patients resulting in clearance of symptoms). The following list of leptospira-inhibiting herbs was culled from the Chinese medical literature:

Isatis leaf Smilax
Isatis root Gardenia
Andrographis Hu-chang
Coptis Chien-li-kuang
Scute Verbena
Phellodendron Sanguisorba
Forsythia Ching-hao
Most of these herbs treat a condition described as damp-heat; many of the herbs have broad-spectrum antibiotic and antiviral properties. The book Thousand Formulas and Thousand Herbs of Traditional Chinese Medicine (5), no doubt relying on the same source material, listed the first nine ingredients of the above list as inhibitors of Leptospira; this text also presents five traditional formulas suggested for treating leptospirosis, divided by syndrome:

Exogenous pathogen invading the qi phase (this corresponds to the initial disease symptoms, which may include a flu-like pattern): Yin Qiao San (Lonicera and Forsythia Formula).
Summer heat and damp heat misting the three burners (for treatment of skin manifestations of the disease, such as rashes): Sanshi San (Three Stone Powder, made with calamine, gypsum, and red kaolin; this is applied topically).
Acute jaundice (this is the manifestation of leptospirosis as liver disease): Ermiao San (Red Atractylodes and Phellodendron Powder; this is a general formula for damp-heat).
Summer heat injuring the lung: Xin Jia Xiangru Yin (Modification of Elsholtzia Combination; the base formula contains elscholtzia, dolichos, and magnolia bark; a common addition is coptis).
Heat invading the pericardium with liver wind moving internally (this is the manifestation of leptospirosis as meningitis): Zhengan Xifeng Tang plus Angong Niuhuang Wan (Decoction to Subdue Internal Wind plus Pill of Ox Gallstone to Pacify the Palace).
All of the recommended formulas treat a heat syndrome, and include herbs that alleviate damp-heat, though they include few herbs from the list of those that have thus far been shown to inhibit the subject organism in laboratory and clinical tests. The herbal therapies may alleviate symptoms without curing the spirochetal infection, while it is the cure of the disease, defined by freedom from the bacteria, that is the goal of most Western patients and their physicians.

CLINICAL EVALUATIONS
There was considerable clinical research into treatment of leptospirosis in China during the early 1970s (9). It was reported that tablets prepared from equal amounts of the extracts of scute, lonicera, and forsythia, administered three times daily in large amounts were useful for treating mild and moderate cases of the disease. Andrographis extract, in the form of an injection or tablets of the crude extract or of the isolated lactones, was reported to effectively treat leptospirosis. In one evaluation, 31 of 35 cases were said to be cured by the andrographis lactones (mainly diterpene lactones, which are also found in the anticancer herb rabdosia).

More recently, Deng Shifa reported on efforts at prevention and treatment of leptospirosis (6, 7). He administered a decoction prepared from fresh, rather than dried, herbs, using ching-hao, houttuynia, eclipta, imperata, mentha, lonicera stem, humulus (lucao), and rhubarb. This formula only includes one herb, ching-hao, from the list of individual herbs above. The drink was consumed 4-6 times per day (that is, at intervals of 2-4 hours), and it was reported that recovery from symptoms occurred, on average, in about 11 days. The results obtained with the Chinese herbs were similar to those obtained with penicillin, based on cure rate, which was 97%. The same herb formula, with rhubarb deleted, was said to help prevent leptospirosis.

Another spirochete, Treponema, gives rise to two diseases, syphilis (from T. pallidum) and yaws (from T. pertenue). Since these diseases are easily controlled by modern antibiotic therapy, there is little mention of herbal remedies in the literature. Smilax (tufuling), an herb for damp-heat that is included in the list of anti-leptospira herbs, is still prominently mentioned for this application (4, 8). In Western herbal practice, a species of Smilax, known popularly as sarsaparilla, was used for treatment of syphilis. This repeated reference to the herb in clinical use supports the idea that smilax may have a reliable inhibitory effect for spirochetal infections. Treponemes have been isolated from the blood of patients with Lyme disease, suggesting that the ticks may harbor both types of spirochetes.

TCM ANALYSIS OF LYME DISEASE
The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) analysis of a new disease, such as Lyme disease, depends on the disease manifestations and the analysis of other diseases that have some characteristics in common with it. The salient features are these:

the tick introduces the pathogen into the blood stream directly;
the infection typically yields a blotchy red rash, often in a "bull's eye" pattern of red skin coloration and swelling, about 3-20 days after the tick bite;
there may be flu-like symptoms, including fever, headache, sore throat, nausea, fatigue, swollen glands, stiff neck, aching muscles; and
if unresolved there may be recurrences of fever and, usually after several months, arthralgia, usually in the knees, with swelling and hot feeling.
It is estimated that 25-50% of those infected do not get the rash or flu-like symptoms, and that about half of those who experience the rash go on to experience arthralgia. The disease may be interpreted in TCM terms most simply as a heat pathogen entering the blood, which can reside as a "hidden toxin" in some individuals, manifesting disease symptoms later, after some factor activates it.

As an example of traditional prescribing that might be appropriate to Lyme disease, a formula recommended for a heat toxin entering the blood and producing eruption of macules (11) is Lonicera and Gypsum Combination (Liangxue Baidu Tang; Cool Blood and Defeat Toxin Decoction). It contains forsythia, gardenia, scute, and coptis, which are included in the list of anti-leptispirosa herbs, along with gypsum, talc, lonicera, anemarrhena, carthamus, moutan, raw rehmannia, scrophularia, and imperata (the original formula also included horns of antelope and rhino).

TREATMENT OPTIONS IN THE WEST
Medical studies suggest that if the Boerrelia infection can be treated soon after it occurs with antibiotics, there is strong likelihood of it being eliminated quickly and completely. The current medical treatment for Lyme disease is a course of therapy using doxycycline, amoxicillin, penicillin, or erythromycin. These are taken orally except in severe cases in which they may be administered intravenously instead. Many of those who become infected spontaneously recover within days or months even without antibiotics (no doubt, the bacteria eventually succumbs to the immune system). For those who have the infection for months prior to treatment without improvement, antibiotics may need to be administered for several months before the infection finally resolves, and some cases may entirely escape cure with this therapy due to the characteristics of the bacteria (ability to avoid the immune system by antigenic changes on its surface and ability to avoid antibiotic inhibition by infiltrating areas of the body, such as the joints, that have lower levels of exposure to the drug).

The absence of direct clinical evaluation of Chinese herbs in relation to Lyme disease means that there is some difficulty recommending that this method be used in lieu of the currently accepted course of antibiotics. Some individuals may wish to attempt to increase the chances of success with antibiotics or even shorten the duration of treatment with antibiotics by combining a Chinese herbal treatment, and a few individuals may wish to try using Chinese herbs alone, saving the antibiotic therapy as a back-up. One would apply herbs that are reputed to inhibit other spirochetes (since these should have an excellent chance of inhibiting this one), as well as any herbs that might treat the specific symptoms or the patient's constitution.

The Seven Forests herb formula tablet Isatis 6 provides isatis leaf, hu-chang, and andrographis from the list of herbs given above, and the Seven Forests formula Forsythia 18 provides forsythia, gardenia, scute, phellodendron, and coptis, which are also on that list. Together, these formulas may provide the bacterial inhibition that is sought from Chinese herbs in a convenient form of administration (suggested dosage would be 3-5 tablets of each formula, three times daily). As with treatment of any infection, the intended application is a high dosage for a few days or weeks. Since the formulas fall into the category of clearing heat, persons with symptoms and signs indicating a constitutional cold syndrome would probably do better to have a personalized formula made (e.g., extract granules), combining the desired anti-bacterial ingredients (which have a cold nature) with herbs for addressing the constitutional imbalance.

The single herb ching-hao may be of interest in treating this disease. This is an herb for damp-heat that is one of the most effective herbal agents for treating malaria, another parasitic disease (though a very different pathogen) introduced directly into the blood stream by an insect (mosquito). It was included in the formula recommended by Deng Shifa for treatment and prevention of leptospirosis. Aside from being listed as an anti-spirochete based on laboratory evaluation, this herb also helps regulate the immune system in cases of autoimmune disorders. For example, it is found useful in treating the autoimmune attack against connective tissue (mainly skin and joints) in patients with lupus (9). The arthralgia experienced by persons with advanced Lyme disease may involve some autoimmune component (at this time, it is unclear whether persistence of the bacteria is solely responsible for persisting symptoms or if there is an induced autoimmune process that contributes to the symptoms).

Further, if the symptoms of arthralgia have already developed, then herbs traditionally used for that purpose would also be administered (selection of ingredients would depend on symptom presentation and constitutional factors). Lonicera stem, included in the treatment for leptospirosis described by Deng Shifen, may be of interest, as it is used like lonicera flower as an anti-toxin agent, but is considered a specific treatment for arthralgia.

Based on the analysis that has been presented here, for patients willing to take a decoction or dried decoction, the following is proposed as a base formula that may be modified, if deemed necessary, for individual needs:

Anti-Spirochete Mixture
(equal parts)
Smilax
Ching-hao
Forsythia
Hu-chang
Andrographis
Lonicera stem

When using a decoction, the dosage of individual herbs should be 12-15 grams for a one day dose. Using dried decoctions, a daily dosage of 15-18 grams of the mixture would be appropriate. Three times per day dosing is a usual recommendation for the treatment of infections.

Why some people do not get better.

When it comes to tricky diseases like Lyme disease, I understand the hustle, run around and how it can drain you, but I occasionally come into contact with people who I know will not get better.
Hi, my name is Katrina and today I would like to address an issue why some people don’t get better.
I have met people for whom it’s much easier to be a victim than to be a warrior. This people like to complain and whine about their health and their lives, and they love the attention and sympathy they get.

The Klinghardt Neurotoxin Elimination Protocol

Approved by:
American Academy of Neural Therapy and
Institute of Neurobiology (Bellevue, WA, USA)
Institute for Neurobiologie (Stuttgart, Germany)
Academy for Balanced NeuroBiology Ltd (London, United Kingdom)

This lecture was presented by Dietrich Klinghardt M.D., Ph.D. at the Jean Piaget Department at the University of Geneva, Switzerland Oct. 2002 to physicians and dentists from Europe, Israel, several Arab countries and Asia.

What are Neurotoxins?
Neurotoxins are substances attracted to the mammalian nervous system. They are absorbed by nerve endings and travel inside the neuron to the cell body. On their way they disrupt vital functions of the nerve cell, such as axonal transport of nutrients, mitochondrial respiration and proper DNA transcription.

The body is constantly trying to eliminate neurotoxins via the available exit routes — the liver, kidney, skin and exhaled air. Detox mechanisms include acetylation, sulfation, glucuronidation, oxidation and others. The liver is most important in these processes. Here most elimination products are expelled with the bile into the small intestine and should leave the body via the digestive tract. However, because of the lipophilic/neurotropic nature of the neurotoxins, most are reabsorbed by the abundant nerve endings of the enteric nervous system (ENS) in the intestinal wall. The ENS has more neurons than the spinal chord. From the moment of mucosal uptake the toxins can potentially take 4 different paths:

Neuronal uptake and via axonal transport to the spinal chord (sympathetic neurons) or brainstem (parasympathetics) — from here back to the brain.

Venous uptake and via the portal vein back to the liver.
Lymphatic uptake and via the thoracic duct to the subclavian vein.
Uptake by bowel bacteria and tissues of the intestinal tract.

Here is an incomplete list of common neurotoxins in order of importance:

Heavy metals — such as mercury, lead, cadmium and aluminum.
Biotoxins — such as tetanus toxin, botulinum toxin (botox), ascaridin (from intestinal parasites), unspecified toxins from streptococci, staphylococci, lyme disease, clamydia, tuberculosis, fungal toxins and toxins produced by viruses. Biotoxins are minute molecules (200–1000 kilodaltons) containing nitrogen and sulfur. They belong to a group of chemical messengers, which microorganisms use to control the host's immune system, host behavior and the host's eating habits.
Xenobiotics (man-made environmental toxins) — such as dioxin, formaldehyde, insecticides, and wood preservatives, PCBs etc.
Food Preservatives, excitotoxins and cosmetics — such as aspartame (diet sweeteners) food colorings, fluoride, methyl-and propyl-paraben, etc.
I have found that mercury in it's different chemical forms has a synergistic amplifying effect with all other neurotoxins. When mercury is removed, the body starts to more effectively eliminate all other neurotoxins, even if they are not addressed.

What are the Symptoms?
Any illness can be caused by, or contributed to, or exaggerated by neurotoxins. Fatigue, depression, insomnia, memory loss and blunting of the senses are common early symptoms (See list of mercury related symptoms on the following pages).

How is the Diagnosis Established?
History of Exposure: (Did you ever have any amalgam fillings? A tick bite? etc)
Symptoms: (How is your short term memory? Do you have areas of numbness, strange sensations, etc?)
Laboratory Testing: (Metals, hair, stool, serum, whole blood, urine analysis, xenobiotics, fatty tissue biopsy and urine)
Autonomic Response Testing (Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt M.D., Ph.D.)
BioEnergetic Testing (EAV, kinesiology, QXCI etc.)
Response to Therapeutic Trial
Functional Acuity Contrast Test (measure of Retinal Blood Flow)

TREATMENT
Why would we want to treat anyone at all? Is it really needed? Can the body not eliminate these toxins naturally on its own?

Here is a short list of independent risk factors, which can either cause accumulation of metals in an otherwise healthy body — or slow down, or inhibit the body's own elimination processes.

Genetics
Occupational exposure to toxic material
Prior illnesses
Surgical operations
Medication or "Recreational" drug use
Emotional trauma, especially in early childhood
Social status
High carbohydrate intake combined with protein malnutrition (especially in vegetarians)
Use of homeopathic mercury
Food allergies
The patient's electromagnetic environment (mobile phone use, home close to power lines etc.)
Constipation
Compromise of head/neck lymphatic drainage (sinusitis, tonsil ectomy scars, poor dental occlusion)
Number of dental amalgam fillings over the patient's lifetime, The number of amalgam fillings the patient's mother had.
We will discuss here only those elimination agents, which are natural, safe and have also been shown to be as effective (or more effective) than the few available pharmaceuticals. Because these products cannot be patented and exploited for unethical personal gain, little attention has been given to them by European or North American medical researchers. Many of the best scientific studies on this topic are from Asian countries.

The Basic Program
High protein, mineral, fatty acid and fluid intake

Rationale:

Proteins provide the important precursors to the endogenous metal detox and shuttle agents, such as coeruloplasmin, metallothioneine, glutathione and others. The branched-chain amino acids in cow and goat whey have valuable independent detox effects.
Metals attach themselves only in places that are programmed for attachment of metal ions. Mineral deficiency provides the opportunity for toxic metals to attach themselves to vacant binding sites. A healthy mineral base is a prerequisite for all metal detox attempts (selenium, zinc, manganese, germanium, molybdenum etc.). Substituting minerals can detoxify the body by itself. Just as important are electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium), which help to transport toxic waste across the extra-cellular space towards the lymphatic and venous vessels.
Lipids (made from fatty acids) make up 60–80% of the central nervous system and need to be constantly replenished. Deficiency makes the nervous system vulnerable to the fat soluble metals, such as metallic mercury constantly escaping as odorless and invisible vapor evaporating from the amalgam fillings.
Without enough fluid intake the kidneys may become contaminated with metals. The basal membranes swell up and the kidneys can no longer efficiently filtrate toxins. Adding a balanced electrolyte solution in small amounts to water helps to restore intra-and extra-cellular fluid balance

Cilantro (Chinese Parsley)
This kitchen herb is capable of mobilizing mercury, cadmium, lead and aluminum in both bones and the central nervous system. It is probably the only effective agent in mobilizing mercury stored in the intracellular space (attached to mitochondria, tubulin, liposomes etc) and in the nucleus of the cell (reversing DNA damage of mercury). Because cilantro mobilizes more toxins then it can carry out of the body, it may flood the connective tissue (where the nerves reside) with metals, that were previously stored in safer hiding places.

This process is called re-toxification. It can easily be avoided by simultaneously giving an intestinal toxin-absorbing agent. Our definite choice is the algal organism chlorella. A recent animal study demonstrated rapid removal of aluminum from the skeleton superior to any known other detox agent.

Dosage and application of cilantro tincture: give 2 drops 2 times per day in the beginning, taken just before a meal or 30 minutes after taking chlorella (cilantro causes the gallbladder to dump bile — containing the excreted neurotoxins — into the small intestine. The bile-release occurs naturally as we are eating and is much enhanced by cilantro. If no chlorella is taken, most neurotoxins are reabsorbed on the way down the small intestine by the abundant nerve endings of the enteric nervous system). Gradually increase dose to 10 drops 3 times/day for full benefit. During the initial phase of the detox cilantro should be given 1 week on, 2–3 weeks off.

Other ways of taking cilantro: rub 5 drops twice/day into ankles for mobilization of metals in all organs, joints and structures below the diaphragm, and into the wrists for organs, joints and structures above the diaphragm. The wrists have dense autonomic innervation (axonal uptake of cilantro) and are crossed by the main lymphatic channels (lymphatic uptake).

Cilantro tea: use 10 to 20 drops in cup of hot water. Sip slowly. Clears the brain quickly of many neurotoxins. Good for headaches and other acute symptoms (joint pains, angina, headache). Or, rub 10–15 drops into painful area. Often achieves almost instant pain relief.

Chlorella
Both C. Pyreneidosa (better absorption of toxins, but harder to digest) and C. Vulgaris (higher CGF content — see below, easier to digest, less metal absorbing capability) are available. Chlorella has multiple health inducing effects:

Antiviral (especially effective against the cytomegaly virus from the herpes family)
Toxin Binding (mucopolysaccharide membrane) all known toxic metals, environmental toxins such as dioxin and others
Repairs and activates the body's detoxification functions
Dramatically increases reduced glutathion
Sporopollein is as effective as cholestyramin in binding neurotoxins and more effective in binding toxic metals than any other natural substance found.
Various peptides restore coeruloplasmin and metallothioneine.
Lipids (12.4%) alpha-and gamma-linoleic acid help to balance the increased intake of fish oil during our detox program and are necessary for a multitude of functions, including formation of the peroxisomes.
Methyl-coblolamine is food for the nervous system, restores damaged neurons and has its own detoxifying effect.
Chlorella growth factor helps the body detoxify itself in a yet not understood profound way. It appears that over millions of years chlorella has developed specific detoxifying proteins and peptides for every existing toxic metal.
The porphyrins in chlorophyll have their own strong metal binding effect. Chlorophyll also activates the PPAR-receptor on the nucleus of the cell which is responsible for the transcription of DNA and coding the formation of the peroxisomes (see fish oil), opening of the cell wall (unknown mechanism) which is necessary for all detox procedures, normalizes insulin resistance and much more. Medical drugs that activate the PPAR receptor (such as pioglitazone) have been effective in the treatment of breast and prostate cancer.
Super nutrient: 50–60% amino acid content, ideal nutrient for vegetarians, methylcobolamin — the most easily absorbed and utilized form of B12, B6, minerals, chlorophyll, beta carotene etc.
Immune system strengthening
Restores bowel flora
Digestive Aid (bulking agent)
Alkalinizing agent (Important for patient's with malignancies)

Dosage: start with 1 gram ( = 4 tab.) 3–4 times/day. This is the standard maintenance dosage for grown ups for the 6–24 months of active detox. During the more active phase of the detox (every 2–4 weeks for 1 week), whenever cilantro is given, the dose can be increased to 3 grams 3–4 times per day (1 week on, 2–4 weeks back down to the maintenance dosage). Take 30 minutes before the main meals and at bedtime. This way chlorella is exactly in that portion of the small intestine where the bile squirts into the gut at the beginning of the meal, carrying with it toxic metals and other toxic waste. These are bound by the chlorella cell wall and carried out via the digestive tract.

When amalgam fillings are removed, the higher dose should be given for 2 days before and 2–5 days after the procedure (the more fillings are removed, the longer the higher dose should be given). No cilantro should be given around the time of dental work. During this time we do not want to mobilize deeply stored metals in addition to the expected new exposure.

If you take Vitamin C during your detox program, take it as far away from Chlorella as possible (best after meals).

Side effects: most side effects reflect the toxic effect of the mobilized metals, which are shuttled through the organism. This problem is instantly avoided by significantly increasing the chlorella dosage, not by reducing it, which would worsen the problem (small chlorella doses mobilize more metals than are bound in the gut, large chlorella doses bind more toxins than are mobilized). Some people have problems digesting the cell membrane of chlorella. The enzyme cellulase resolves this problem.

Cellulase is available in many health food stores in digestive enzyme products. Taking chlorella together with food also helps in some cases, even though it is less effective that way. C. Vulgaris has a thinner cell wall and is better tolerated by people with digestive problems. Some manufactures have created cell wall free chlorella extracts (NDF, PCA), which are very expensive, less effective — but easily absorbed.

Chlorella Growth Factor
This is a heat extract from chlorella that concentrates certain peptides, proteins and other ingredients. The research on CGF shows that children develop no tooth decay and their dentition (maxillary-facial development) is near perfect. There are less illnesses and children grow earlier to a larger size with higher I.Q and are socially more skilled. There are case reports of patients with dramatic tumor remissions after taking CGF in higher amounts. In our experience, CGF makes the detox experience for the patient much easier, shorter and more effective.

Recommended dosage: 1 cap. CGF for each 20 tab. chlorella

Garlic (Allium Sativum) and Wild Garlic (Allium Ursinum)
Garlic has been shown to protect the white and red blood cells from oxidative damage caused by metals in the blood stream — on their way out — and also has its own valid detoxification functions. Garlic contains numerous sulphur components, including the most valuable sulph-hydryl groups, which oxidize mercury, cadmium and lead and make these metals water-soluble. This makes it easy for the organism to excrete these substances.

Garlic also contains alliin which is enzymatically transformed into allicin, natures most potent antimicrobial agent. Metal toxic patients almost always suffer from secondary infections, which are often responsible for part of the symptoms. Garlic also contains the most important mineral, which protects from mercury toxicity, bioactive selenium. Most selenium products are poorly absorbable and do not reach those body compartments in need for it. Garlic selenium is the most beneficial natural bio-available source. Garlic is also protective against heart disease and cancer.

The half-life of allicin (after crushing garlic) is less then 14 days. Most commercial garlic products have no allicin releasing potential left. This distinguishes freeze-dried garlic from all other products. Bear garlic tincture is excellent for use in detox, but less effective as antimicrobial agent.

Dosage: 1–3 capsules freeze dried garlic after each meal. Start with 1 capsule after the main meal per day; slowly increase to the higher dosage. Initially the patient may experience die-off reactions (from killing pathogenic fungal or bacterial organisms). Use 5–10 drops bear-garlic on food at least 3 times per day.

Fish Oil
The fatty acid complexes EPA and DHA in fish oil make the red and white blood cells more flexible thus improving the microcirculation of the brain, heart and other tissues. All detoxification functions depend on optimal oxygen delivery and blood flow. EPA and DHA protect the brain from viral infections and are needed for the development of intelligence and eyesight. The most vital cell organelle for detoxification is the peroxisome. These small structures are also responsible for the specific job each cell has.

In the pineal gland the melatonin is produced in the peroxisome, in the neurons dopamine and norepinephrine, etc. It is here, where mercury and other toxic metal attach and disable the cell from doing its work. Other researchers have focused on the mitochondria and other cellorganelles, which in our experience are damaged much later.

The cell is constantly trying to make new peroxisomes to replace the damaged ones. For that task it needs an abundance of fatty acids, especially EPA and DHA. Until recently it was believed, that the body could manufacture its own EPA/DHA from other Omega 3 fatty acids such as fish oil. Today we know, that this process is slow and cannot keep up with the enormous demand for EPA/DHA our systems have in today's toxic environment.

Fish oil is now considered an essential nutrient, even for vegetarians. Recent research also revealed, that the transformation humans underwent when apes became intelligent and turned into humans happened only in coastal regions, where the apes started to consume large amounts of fish. Why not benefit from that knowledge and consume more fish oil?

The fatty acids in fish oil are very sensitive to exposure to electromagnetic fields, temperature, light and various aspects of handling and processing. Trans fatty acids, long chain fatty acids, renegade fats and other oxidation products and contaminants are frequently found in most commercial products. Ideally, fish oil should be kept in an uninterrupted cooling chain until it ends up in the patient's fridge. The fish-source should be mercury and contaminant free, which is becoming harder and harder.

Fish oil should taste slightly fishy but not too much. If there is no fish taste, too much processing and manipulation has destroyed the vitality of the oil. If it tastes too fishy, oxidation products are present. I recommend you use the product recommended below (grade I), where meticulous care has been taken to comply with all the necessary parameters. The clinical results are outstanding.

Dosage: 1 capsule Omega 3 taken 4 times/day during the active phase of treatment, 1 cap. twice/day for maintenance. Best if taken together with chlorella

The VegiPearls contain half the amount of EPA/DHA. The vegetarian capsules eliminate even the most remote possibility of containing prions and make the idea of taking fish oil more easily acceptable for vegetarians. Recently a fatty acid receptor has been discovered on the tongue, joining the other more known taste receptors. If the capsules are chewed, the stomach and pancreas start to prepare the digestive tract in exactly the right way to prepare for maximum absorption. Children love chewing the VegiPearls.

To treat bipolar depression, postpartum depression and other forms of mental disease, 2000 mg of EPA are needed/day (David Horrobin). For the modulation of malignancies, 120 mg of EPA 4 times/day are needed. The calculations can easily be done with the information given on the label.

Balanced Electrolyte Solution (Selectrolyte) or (Zeta Aid)
The autonomic nervous system in most toxic patients is dysfunctional. Electric messages in the organism are not received, are misunderstood or misinterpreted. Toxins cannot be shuttled through the extra-cellular space. Increased intake of natural ocean salt (Celtic sea salt) — and avoidance of regular table salt — has been found to be very effective in resolving some of these problems. Most effective is a solution pioneered by the American chemist Ketkovsky. He created the formula for the most effective electrolyte replacement, which was further improved by Morin Labs, and is now called "selectrolyte". I recommend this to all my patients and have observed, that every aspect of the detoxification process seems to be enhanced. 5% of the population is sodium or chloride sensitive — the blood pressure goes up (easily reversible). In these patients the detox process takes longer and is more difficult.

Dosage: 1 tsp in a cup of good water 1–3 times/day. During times of greater stress the dosage can be temporarily increased to 1 tbsp 3 times/day.

More aggressive approaches, such as I.V. Glutathione, Vitamin C, DMPS, Na2EDTA and others have a place in reasonably healthy people but often worsen the condition in patients with advanced illness.

Most valuable is the addition of psychotherapeutic interventions such as applied psychoneurobiology (APN) and mental field therapy (MFT) to trigger the release of toxins from their hiding places.

Chlorella, cilantro, garlic-products and fatty acids vary greatly in quality and nutrient content, also in content of contaminants. I no longer recommend BioReurella and other products that have not undergone or passed our quality control screening process.

Heavy metal detox has to be done carefully and right !!!

Cleansing Neurotoxin Overload

Detoxification can be an important method to support the patient during their healing crisis. As with many autoimmune cases, there are many factors. Neurotoxin overload is a common problem that affects many patients. The source of neurotoxins may be heavy metals, viruses, bacteria (in the case of Lyme), fungi, molds, parasites and protozoans. Some of the toxins actually target, impair and even damage the nervous system and the detoxification organs. This can further impair and block the route for normal excretion, causing an accumulation of toxins. This results in intracellular damage and further progression of disease.

In Lyme disease, the bacteria is a "smart" bug which wants to maintain its life within the person. It actually hides itself from the immune system. The Lyme bacteria is neurotoxic and, in order to survive, clogs up the lymphatic system and causes the blood to thicken. This leads to poor blood flow through the liver and a stickiness to the interstitial fluid. The interstitial fluid is the fluid that bathes and nourishes the tissue cells. It also picks up microorganisms, foreign particles, enzymes, proteins, and hormones for processing through the lymphatic system. In addition to the lymphatic system, Lyme prefers to travel through the collagen more than the blood. Lyme disease is a systemic infection and it can invade and damage any and all organs, glands, and systems of our body. Lyme patients are also challenged by other co-infections that are often overlooked.

Because of its ability to hide from the immune system, Lyme makes itself difficult to diagnose through testing and thereby difficult to design an effective treatment protocol. Often it can mask itself as a different disease such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig disease). It is important for the physician to ascertain if Lyme is at a causal level in these diseases. Assuming the patient is being treated with an appropriate protocol, effective detoxification plays an extremely important role in eliminating the neurotoxins from the body.

When the Lyme is being killed, it produces its own neurotoxin in defense. This subsequently clogs the blood, lymph, liver and colon which slows down the detoxification pathways. And as long as the patient is in treatment for Lyme, detoxification needs to be ongoing. When the body is overburdened with a toxic load, the patient might experience a Herxheimer (Herx) reaction. One of my patients explained her Herx reactions like a bad hangover. She had extreme fatigue, headaches, nausea, flu-like symptoms, and a tingling sensation throughout her body. She also noticed that her usual symptoms were made much worse. It is during these episodes, the detoxification process becomes even more important.

Since there are numerous methods for detoxification, one must select those which offer the most support. The two primary pathways of detoxification are: 1) the colon which removes solid wastes and 2) the kidneys and bladder which removes liquid wastes. These pathways have external elimination, those being feces and urine. The liver is also a primary detoxification organ for toxins, hormones, and protein and fat metabolism. The pathway for water-soluble toxins is through the urine. Hormones are excreted through bile in the GI tract. The lungs and skin are the secondary pathways. The lungs outgas toxins from the bloodstream and the skin acts as an excretion pathway by erupting with pimples, pustules, abscesses or oozing sores in the attempt to remove toxins from the body.

Colon Functions

The functions of the colon (also called the large intestine or large bowel) are numerous. These functions work very well when the intestinal bacteria is of beneficial varieties and in sufficient quantities. The colon actually manufactures certain nutrients for us, including B 12 and Vitamin K. It absorbs nutrients which might have been missed in the small intestines which helps to keep us nutrient dense. Third, it blocks the absorption of pathogens and toxins from returning to the blood stream. Next, it reabsorbs and recycles water and bile. The water is used to keep the body from dehydrating and the bile is reused in digestion of fats. Finally, the colon decomposes chyme (digested food) into fecal material as the final component of the life cycle. It is essentially our own personal compost pit.

Colon Detoxification

For effective elimination of solid waste, it is important to have a proper binding agent such as fiber or chlorella. This is especially true with neurotoxins. One needs to also have numerous daily bowel movements or colon hydrotherapy. Otherwise the neurotoxins are reabsorbed from the colon back into the system and redistributed throughout the body. This vicious cycle needs to be broken.

With any detoxification protocol, if the bowels are not working efficiently and effectively, this is the first place to start. Also, 60 percent of the immune system is in the intestines which is called GALT. This stands for Gut Associated Lymphoid Tissue. Therefore a properly functioning gastrointestinal (GI) tract is vital for immune function. To keep the bowels working we can use colon hydrotherapy, supplements which loosen the bowels, and, most importantly, colon reflorastation therapy.

Colon hydrotherapy, also called colonics, is the gentle washing out of the large intestine. Many areas have colon therapists, some do not. To find a competent therapist, talk with the holistic practitioners in your area. Colonics are an effective way to remove fecal material when there is toxicity, constipation, or poor muscle action in the colon. It also removes bile which has not been absorbed. During a colonic, much of the fecal material in the 5 feet of large intestines is removed. Colonic should be administered as needed.

When there is lower abdominal pain, castor oil packs according to the Edgar Cayce method are beneficial. Use a piece of wool or cotton flannel. Saturate it with hexane free castor oil and place the cloth on the abdomen from the bottom of the ribs to the top of the hip bones. It can be covered with a piece of plastic like a garbage bag liner which keeps the oil from soiling our clothing or bedding. A heating pad or hot water bottle is placed on top of the plastic for the one hour treatment. These are suggested three times per week or as needed. More is definitely better and some patients sleep with the pack covering the abdomen. The flannel doesn't need to be washed, just placed in a Ziploc® bag until the next application. Additional oil is used for each treatment. There are studies which show that these packs increase the detoxification process, strengthen the immune system and decrease pain. They can be used before colonics or as needed.

If colonics are not possible, there are a number of ways to increase bowel activity: magnesium oxide, vitamin C in crystal form, digestive enzymes, or herbal supplements such as hyssop. These stimulate the muscle action of the colon called peristalsis. An occasional use of the herbs cascara sagrada or senna is acceptable although these are not a preferred choice, as they can irritate the delicate lining of the intestines.

When there are excessive bowels movements due to diarrhea or irritable bowel syndrome, it is preferable to begin with one colon reflorastation therapy. This therapy is the rectal introduction of probiotics. Due to the acidity of the stomach, most probiotics do not easily reach the large intestine. The oral method only has a success rate of two to five percent.

However in a rectal application, 100 % of the bacteria are retained and flourish in this dark, moist, and warm environment. In this way the colon will colonize within one hour and stabilize in three days. This is called colon reflorastation therapy and can be readministered as often as needed. This provides rapid support for detoxification.

In my 30 years of private practice, I have continuously tested many varieties of probiotics and have found those which are safe, efficient, and effective. This is determined by a positive response on 95% of all the patients. In this way, I have formulated a proprietary formula which has twenty varieties and 50 billion in quantity per application. This provides a rapid proliferation of bacteria. For those with chemical or environmental sensitivity, each individual bacteria can be tested with EAV or Vega testing.

The vitality of this formula has shown a primary support for the GI tract and a secondary support for the liver, kidneys, and immune system. Because of this, the frequency of colonics can be reduced unless there is chronic constipation or slow bowel transit time.

Bowel transit time is the number of hours or days it takes for our food to travel from our mouth to final elimination. We test this with unpopped kernels of corn or a large serving of beets. When we see the evidence in the stool, we can determine the amount of time it took to complete the journey through our digestive tract.

While addressing the frequency and effectiveness of bowel elimination, we need to also consider parasites. Lyme likes to hide in parasites. These microscopic invaders might be amoebas, worms, protozoan, fungal spores, or yeasts. While I do not think that parasites are causal to a disease, I do think they are contributors to the deterioration of the patient's vital force.

Parasite Detoxification

Most parasites live in the colon where the small intestines connect on the lower right side of the abdomen. However, they can be found in most areas of the body. Many doctors dismiss parasites as a concern for those living in third world nations. In a sample of almost 3,000 people, 32% tested positive for some type of parasitic infection.

Parasites inflame the lining of the GI tract which blocks the absorption of nutrients. A natural by-product of parasites is acid, which can cause the central nervous system to become sluggish, damage organs, and break down muscle tissue. In their process of growth and reproduction, they emit toxins that affect the liver and kidneys. These detoxification organs then become fatigued and sluggish. Because parasites hinder the growth of beneficial probiotics, they create an environment that allows yeast to flourish.

A comprehensive parasite detoxification program will address these invaders three ways. First, we use an energetic approach with a homeopathic remedy. Second, a chemical method is used. I prefer a tincture of black walnut. It is best to select the green hull form since it has the highest concentration of the chemical which affects parasites. Third, there is a mechanical method using a food grade form of diatomaceous earth.

Since most parasites have a life cycle of 21 days, a parasite cleanse should last 23 days or longer. A gentle bowel cleanser will help to move the parasites, their debris, and their eggs out more quickly. I prefer one that is rice based since it is easier to eliminate because it stays soft and slippery.

Liver Functions

Once we have a healthy colon, it is necessary to look to the liver. Toxins in the body can expose the liver to damage which causes a decrease in liver metabolism. This is called sluggish liver. Symptoms from this kind of damage include fatigue, headaches, blurred vision, increased fat storage, and hormone imbalance.

Our liver has a central role in the removal of toxins from the body. It also detoxifies and excretes hormones into the bile. Another main function of the liver is protein metabolism. When there is decreased blood flow through the liver, there can be increased levels of ammonia in the blood. One other central function is fat metabolism, particularly cholesterol and phospholipids such as lecithin. It is therefore essential that our liver remains in optimal working condition.

Liver Detoxification

There is a distinct difference in liver detoxification enzymes which exist between men and women. This is due to the phase 1 liver detoxification enzyme induced by progesterone. What we must remember is that it affects our susceptibility and outcome to toxic exposure. Perhaps this is a factor which contributes to the high incidence rate of autism in males, more than females. Also, genetic mutations of the liver detoxification pathways can make our job even more difficult.

Since the liver detoxification pathways are complex, this article is not about understanding it. Instead, let's learn how to effectively support this process. Juicing with deep green vegetables, including kale, barley grass, alfalfa, and beet greens will support ongoing daily detoxification. Also, look for a nutritional product which has a combination of supplements designed to address both phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification pathways. Begin with a very small dose, increase slowly, and vary the dose as needed. We do this to reduce the possibility of herx and detox reactions.

Should this occur or if you are feeling toxic, lethargic or sluggish, consider a coffee enema. They can decrease the load in the liver. There is a portal vein which allows the coffee in the rectum and lower colon to rapidly activate the liver. It dumps the toxic load into the GI tract for removal via the stool.

An easy method of delivery of coffee is to use organic instant coffee in a 4 ounce disposable enema bottle. First, pour off an ounce of the saline solution. Add 3 tablespoons of the organic instant coffee to the bottle. It is then warmed by placing it in a cup of hot water for several minutes. Lie on your left side to administer the enema. When completed, turn onto your back and place a small pillow under the buttocks. If possible hold this for five to twenty minutes, longer if possible, before expelling the coffee. These may also be repeated as often as needed. However it is important to periodically do the colon reflorastation therapy.

During coffee enemas we are disrupting the pH (acid-alkaline balance) of the colon. Our healthy bacteria are now working to clear out the toxins from the liver while having their environment less than optimal. 24 hours after the coffee enemas, administer a new colon reflorastation to further support our detoxification channels.

Lymphatic System and Function

Now that we are keeping the colon and liver in better working order, we need to turn to the lymphatic pathways. This is our immune system. While the skin is the largest organ of the immune system, sixty percent of the immune system is in the intestines. The lymph vessels are located near our arteries and veins. These carry toxins and wastes away from the cells. The pathogens are then trapped in lymph nodes until they can be destroyed by cells. We can more easily feel our lymph nodes in our neck, under our arms, and around the groin. They also surround our vital organs, our face and our head.

Lymphatic Detoxification

There are two forms of lymphatic drainage therapy: manual and electronically assisted. The most effective and rapid method is the electronically assisted. These treatments may last from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. It is important to not overload the system when taking your first treatment. If flu-like symptoms, nausea, or headaches occur, be sure the colon and liver are well supported. Longer sessions can be taken when the reactions are minimal or tolerable.

This form of lymph drainage uses far infrared heat and multi-wave oscillating frequencies with noble gases. Infrared is a type of invisible light with electromagnetic waves. Research has shown that far infrared ray has a high value on human health. These rays penetrate into the cells and create a water molecule resonance. It enters the subcutaneous cell layer and elevates the temperature. This increases capillary dilation and circulation. At this time there is an excretion of blood and congested toxins. This activates the cells, assists in repair and protection of these cells, and promotes the formation of enzymes.

In addition to the far infrared heat, we use multi-wave oscillating frequencies. These are based on quantum physics. When the light energy is applied to the skin, it increases the flow of both blood and lymphatic fluids. During the lymphatic drainage therapy, the light is applied to the skin in a systematic pattern. Toxins are decoupled from the interstitial fluid. They must then pass through the lymphatics. After being processed in the lymph nodes the toxins are excreted in the urine.

This light can also be used during colonics as the gut takes on the energy field and increases the flow of blood and lymph within the colon. This increases detoxification. Whether we do this as a full lymphatic drainage therapy or in addition to a colon hydrotherapy, we will have a reduction of toxins and pathogenic material. Naturally we will have healthier cells.

After a lymphatic drainage treatment, it is important to drink plenty of water and take a detoxification bath. One of the easiest products to use is epsom salt. At least one pound of epsom salt is added to the bath water. Submerge the body as much as possible for 15 to 20 minutes. Use a loofah or vegetable brush to thoroughly brush the skin at the end of the bath. Other bath products, particularly those with EDTA can assist in the additional removal of toxins and heavy metals. Baths may be incorporated into any protocol as it stimulates the elimination of toxins through the skin.

In my private practice, I have come to realize that administration of the colon reflorastation therapy is essential to the lymphatic drainage treatment. This can be done after a colonic or as the lymphatic treatment begins. In this way, I have been able to almost completely eliminate detox reactions after the treatment. Otherwise, patients experience symptoms such as fatigue, flu like symptoms, headaches, and nausea.

Detoxification Baths

A detox bath can be as simple as the epsom salt bath explained above or as comprehensive as one using specific equipment. There are several models available which emit healing frequencies into the water. The unit which I prefer has four features. The powerful ultrasonic waves help the body recover from fatigue, has a massaging effect and boosts energy levels as it drives heat deep into the body. This warms the bones and the internal organs while improving circulation. The mat emits far infrared rays which create a magnetic field to detoxify whatever parts of the body are submerged in the water. It creates ozone from ambient air and disperses it into the water in the form of bubbles. In this way, the skin transfers the ozone into the blood stream disabling the toxins. The final feature is the negative ions which, like a thunderstorm, are generated anions to promote cell activity and assist in the body's ability to process oxygen.

The benefits of this type of bath are internal warming, deep cleansing as it releases toxins, and the benefits of massage such as passive exercise and relaxation. A typical treatment is 15 minutes and can be done occasionally or up to four times per day.

Other Detoxification Methods

There are a number of other forms of detoxification, including hyperbaric oxygen, ionic foot baths, homeopathic drainage, and intravenous injections of hydrogen peroxide and nutrients. What is critical is to recognize the toxic problem being experienced. By evaluating this, we can then determine the most effective treatment to address that concern. Keeping in mind, the importance of an efficient colon first, and then the liver and lymphatics. What is not able to carry away the neurotoxin must be treated first or at the same time.

Case History #1

S.J. is a 20 year old female who was diagnosed with Lyme disease in the summer of 2006. Her program included the natural IVs of hydrogen peroxide, Vitamin C, and an ozone treatment. On the traditional side, she did 3 times per week for 2 months of antibiotic injections. Afterwards, she did oral antibiotics and antifungals. Within 6 months, her detox channels were extremely congested and crippled by the excessive neurotoxins.

Her detox program included colonics with the colon reflorastation therapy. As symptoms changed, we incorporated a parasite cleanse, detox baths, lymphatic drainage therapy and coffee enemas. After nineteen months of treatment, her doctors have determined that she is in remission. Her comment to me last week was: "Your treatments have been so valuable. However, what I appreciate most is this: I have learned what to look for so that I know what to do and when to do it. Thanks."

Case History #2

N.J. is a 7 year old boy who was diagnosed with high functioning autism. He has done a comprehensive heavy metal detox as well as antibiotics and antifungals. His detox protocol includes ongoing colon reflorastation therapy, lymphatic drainage therapy and hyperbaric oxygen. When his detoxification pathways function effectively, his behaviors such as spitting vanish and his speech and communication skills increase.

Case History #3

P.F. is a 44 year old male, diagnosed in early 2005 with Lyme. Traditional treatment was done initially, with some improvement. He then relapsed, which began his search into alternative treatment. He did IVs of vitamin C, chelation therapy, holistic antibiotics, and Bee venom treatment. The Lyme disease was primarily neurological. He continues to utilize numerous holistic physicians. The detox protocol includes colon reflorastation therapy which he considered a primary key. He also did lymphatic drainage therapy and castor oil packs. He must maintain a comprehensive program for Lyme, opportunistic viruses, and effective detoxification.

I am getting hundreds of e-mails every day about ASD from hopeless people if it is going to cure them from Lyme.

All I have to say there is no magic bullet! Yes, ASD boosts your immune system, yes ASD kills microorganisms! Thousands of people in Russian cured cancer by using ASD

But there is so much more to healing than just taking a drug or a supplement!

You must change your life style; you must work on your spiritual and mental health as well as physical!

During really bad flares up I was almost suicidal —I have no family in this country, my friends and my distant relatives turned away, noone could understand how debilitating this disease is.

On my way to recovery I was fortunate enough to find a Lyme survivor, who became my coach. She put me on a right track to fight this nightmare.

We all know how discouraging it is to try all possible treatments and relapse soon after. And it costs thousands of dollars.

I lost almost everything due to Lyme. I had to drop off from school, I lost my business, I had to move out of my apartment because I was not able to afford it anymore. Lyme put me near bankruptcy.

But every day I told myself, I will win this battle

WHATEVER IT TAKES!

After my full recovery I do offer coaching sessions myself.

Let me give you a little information about how coaching works. I had to see many doctors, some of them are very well-known, featured in "Under our skin". MDs, LLMD's, Homeopaths, Acupuncturists, Herbalists, Hypnotists, just to name a few… If I knew during my battle what I know now about medical advances and treatments I could of narrowed that field down quite substantially, saving so much time, money, and frustration.

Most Lymies go from doctor to doctor, slowly losing their hope to get better. This is what happened to me as well. Only now, after my full recovery I possess a detailed understanding of most of the types of medicine/treatments/products and diagnostics for Lyme disease, including an order in which to do things.

My "coaching" will last over 60 minutes and all the info we will be discussing I will e-mail to you within 24 hours. Detailed medical and dental background info needs to be e-mailed to me prior to our session. I will need to know what treatments you've done and response, and change of your symptoms to each treatment. I will guide you step by step how to gain your health back!

Everyone asks me what was that last thing that cured me. Again, there is no magic bullet! I worked hard to win this battle; I dedicated each and every day to get closer to the finish line. If I knew back then what I know now, it would be much shorter route.

I don’t promise it’s going to be easy, most likely you have a long road ahead of you (especially If you’ve been sick for many years). But what you’ve got to loose besides bugs?

As you can see, I don’t call my session a “consultation”, as doctors do. I do “coaching”, which means I will instruct and work with you, I will push you over your limits, I will help you to perform your best.

My fee is $150 and I will go over with you treatments and supplements you need to start of. After the session I will e-mail you all the info we discuss with the websites where you can order necessary supplements and products.

All you need is the right information and guidance to break through. You will have great progress with just one coaching session if you follow our plan. It will take you a few months before you need another coaching (at the minimum, it may take you 3-4 months to go through your plan). Some people have made a complete turn around with just one session, but I like to do a Phase 1 and Phase 2 for each plan. You can email me at anytime after coaching if you have questions.

If you are ready to take control of your own health, let me know, and I will sent a form for you to fill out.

Get Empowered! Get Well!

"Nothing is Incurable" is a compilation of Lyme Disease Success Stories. Unlike other forums and websites with depressing stories, I share hope and faith here! I believe that the body can heal itself of any disorder if given the proper stimulus. Lyme Disease is no exception! It makes sense to try an approach that will work with your immune system instead of against it. Never settle for being told that something is incurable. Get empowered. Get well!
